Summer Show
What a beautiful day compared with this time last year! Many thanks to everyone who supported and volunteered for us today.
And while we’re on the subject of volunteers, a humble apology to those who came to help set up on Saturday afternoon. Due to a couple of errors, the setup time was listed incorrectly in the last newsletter and we’d already done the work on Saturday morning 😦
Hope it doesn’t put anyone off helping out in future 🙂
Here’s a quick pic of some jumping winners cowering behind that huge wall 😆
Next event is the Combined Training and don’t forget this is PRE – ENTRY. Details with your newsletter, or you can download a schedule here. The combined training is open to Members and Non-Members.
All in all…just another brick on the wall… :)
For all of you who’ve been waiting with bated breath, here’s our new showjump!
We’ll be using it in some classes at the Summer Show tomorrow, Sunday 9th June
Hope to see you there!
June Newsletter and Combined Training Schedules
If you need more of these, or you’ve any friends that want them, you can download both from the ‘Schedules’ tab for printing in PDF format.
We’re too good to you! 🙂
And here’s a few pictures from the Jump X, in colour.

If any other members or friends have pictures taken at our events and would like them posted, please email them to me at oldchesnut@hotmail.co.uk If you are in one of the pics we post and would like a copy, please just let me know.

Jump X – Sunday 26th May
Because it was so popular last time, we decided to stick to programme and run another Jump X, this time with a different course. So now we have a Bounce fence

And to end the course of 17 fences…a Coffin 🙂

Medals for the winners of each class and rosettes to 6th place.
We’ll probably leave organising a Farm X until later in the year, before the Hunter Trial season begins. Part of the problem is having had the largest grazing field re-seeded, we’re now desperate for some RAIN!!
Looks a bit like a desert, doesn’t it?
See you tomorrow.
