on Sunday 15th has been cancelled. Even though good weather is forecast for that day, unfortunately both the showfield and car park will not have time to dry out 😦
We will instead have this show on SUNDAY 29TH JULY in place of the event shown in your last newsletter.
Hi Everyone
We are keeping our eyes on the weather this week and our fingers crossed that the show will be able to go ahead this Sunday.
At the moment the ground is dry enough, but who knows?!!
Check back on Saturday when we’ll be able to confirm we’re going ahead.
PLEASE NOTE
If your hat does not have a current BHS tag IT WILL NEED TO BE CHECKED at the event, as stated in the schedule. Accepted standards are :
Please make sure you arrive with enough time before your class for this to be done.
We strongly suggest you check before leaving home that your hat complies as you will be unable to compete if it does not.
Don’t forget – entries for the joint Combined Training with Southerndown Riding Club at Tremains should be in by 17th June so times can be allocated.

With the Farm X set for this Sunday 15th April, we have a new course this year. So we thought it might be fun to preview a couple of the new fences.
Log Double (1’6″ and 2’6″)
Stone Wall (1′ and 2’4″)
A Couple of Rotters (1’6″ and 2’1″)
Ooh…er – what’s this??
Don’t forget the course can be walked from 3.00pm tomorrow (Saturday). Gates will be closed as the horses are still out so please park in the Car Park field as usual. The course begins and ends in the showfield as usual BUT this year crosses the geldings’ field. It means we’ve been able to make it one continuous loop rather than having horses going in both directions through the bottom showfield gate, a big improvement.
Please make sure you re-close any gates you go through unless they are already open.
Let’s hope for fine weather!
