AGM 31.3.2022 – Riding Club Committee
Our club committee is currently made up of 9 members who carry out various roles within the club.
Voting at AGM – committee members once elected serve for 3 years before standing for re-election at the AGM, there is a rota so we tend too have around 3 up for re-election at each AGM
Our main club structure is Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer but we have many other important roles including Training/Teams, H&S, Safeguarding Officer for full listing LMRC Club and Committee Roles
We are always looking for new committed people to join the committee team. If you are interested but would like too know more contact a member of the committee or e-mail us.
Also as we are a registered with British Riding Clubs there is also a number of guidelines to help.

Club AGM 31st March 2022 Llanmaes Village Hall
Our last in person AGM was 3 years ago! The last planned one was cancelled at the last minute in March 2020 due to Covid.
We are therefore looking forward to meeting with our members again at a full AGM on 31st March 2022. To be held at Llanmaes Village Hall at 7pm.
Agenda includes:
- Review of last couple of years
- Financial Statements
- Voting on future membership and entry fees (members shows) etc.,
- Election of Officers – we have a rota of Committee members who all serve 3 years before coming forward for re-election. Nominations for potential new committee members should be forwarded to the Chairman 3 days before AGM – please ensure they have agreed to serve and can support the club either with physical help setting up, helping on show days, or taking on an administration role.
- Members Awards from 2021 season (if you still have a trophy please return before AGM we will award on the night a replica award for you too keep)
- Future activities – your opportunity to put forward suggestions!
- Any other business

Open Dressage Competition Saturday 25th September 2021
We are pleased too be able too confirm our schedule and our entry form, for our next dressage competition. This event is open to members and non-members.
The dressage arena will be in our all weather arena on a surface. However, warm up is on grass.
Junior and Senior sections in all tests, with Lead rein section in Intro A & B

Members Trophy Show – entries open!
Our annual trophy show is back again, this is our special end of season show where we like to celebrate with some extra special awards, for our loyal members.
Showing Sections will have a championship with champion and reserve rosettes plus a lovely trophy for the champion too keep.
The novelty showing sections will have their own championship based on points won in the various classes in this section again a special champion / reserve rosette will be awarded plus a trophy too the winner.
Show Jumping classes each have a trophy too the winner, and these will be awarded JNR/SNR if number of entries allow.
Finally a the games section will also have a points championship

Our next training is a showing clinic for members only Friday 20th July with Fiona Leadbitter and Sian Locke
On 22nd August is Flatwork with Sam Whyley, and on 31st we have Katie Williams for jumping (70cm+)
Our next Members show is on 12th September – which will be our annual ‘Trophy Show’ there will be a championship for the showing sections, and Novelty points champion plus a trophy for each of the jumping classes.
Dressage Competition on 25th September – will be open to members and non-members.
Should the weather hold we hope to end the summer season with a Members show on 2rd & 3rd October – this may be in the arena and split over the two days.

Dressage Competition Sunday 11th July 2021
Our next Dressage competition will be on Sunday 11th July at Tremain’s Farm.
The competition will be on a surface in our new 60x40m all weather arena, but warm up will be on grass.
Classes are:
Intro B (this class includes a Lead rein section)
Intro C
Prelim 1
Prelim 12
Novice 24
All classes will have a junior (16yrs and under) and a senior section.
Rosettes 1st to 4th with a medal for the winner
Non-members welcome
Entries close Wednesday 7th July – times will be available on Friday 9th after 7pm
