Just a quick reminder to all competitors coming to Tremains on Sunday not to forget your horse passport/vaccination certificate. These will need to be checked BEFORE your horse is unloaded.
And if you’re intending to come later just for one of the jumping classes and mean to enter on the day, don’t forget you’ll need to bring yours too.
We have been keeping an eye on this situation and unfortunately there have now been cases in the Vale of Glamorgan, close to Tremains Farm. Because of this it has been decided to strictly apply current BRC policy.
This means all competitors must have up-to-date flu vaccination. Passports must be shown and will be checked BEFORE HORSES CAN BE UNLOADED at the event. Competitors hacking to Tremains will be checked on the yard.
We regret having to implement these precautions but members will understand the need to safeguard our animals as best we can at this time.
The link below leads to the schedule and entry form this year’s Combined Training, once again run in conjunction with Southerndown Riding Club. You can enter the dressage or jumping separately, or both as a Combined Training competition. Don’t forget entries have to made in advance by MONDAY 22ND JULY so everyone can have times allocated.
Just a reminder to all showjumpers coming tomorrow. If it’s warm and you wish to ride without a jacket or approved sweatshirt, you must ask the judges/stewards permission first. Hot weather doesn’t mean you can ride without a tie, stock or high (American) collar, though – these are compulsory.
Let’s hope for another dry day!
