We run monthly training clinics in our 60x40m All-weather arena or in summer months over a full show jumping course on grass with our excellent visiting instructors:
Katie Williams – BECC Level 4 Eventing coach and MSc in Professional Sports Coaching.
Katie is BE Regional Youth Coach for Wales and West Midlands and one of the coaches for BE’s National Foundation Skills Academy. Katie holds private coaching sessions and regular training clinics both at home in Monmouthshire and across the country. Best for riders confident at 70cm and over – eventing based training.
Melissa Troup BHSI (British Horse Society Performance Coach) and MSc McTimoney Animal Manipulation.
Melissa’s training can cover flat, pole work and jumping and is aimed to broaden existing knowledge and skills to improve your horse’s athletic ability. Working on physical and mental strengths, for systematic development and enjoyment of both horse and rider.
Joanne Thorne – jumping sessions for all levels, all ages. Joanne Thorne is a highly regarded, freelance equestrian coach based in South Wales, highly sought after by local riders. She organizes regular coaching clinics and training academies across the region, catering to all ages and abilities for flatwork, pole work, and jumping.
Sue Tracey – runs our popular ‘confidence clinic’s for all ages and abilities, including lead rein. Experienced working with all horse and rider abilities with a sympathetic training approach.
Antony Perkins – Anthony Perkins is a highly respected UK-based equestrian coach and panel judge with over 40 years of experience. Based near Bath, he is a sought-after instructor for British Eventing, British Dressage, and showing. He regularly judges for societies like BSPS, NPS, CHAPS, and the Royal Highland Show. Antony, holds mid-week morning sessions covering progressive flat and jumping for more experienced combinations.
